With more than 40 years of experience in Global Banking and Finance, Mr. Malhotra has held several senior positions in Risk Management, Corporate and Investment Banking, Consumer Finance and Micro Enterprise lending, Private Equity, and Wealth Management.

 

 He has worked with several renowned institutions such as Citigroup, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Fullerton Financial Holdings Ltd Singapore, Bank of Montreal Canada, and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Canada across various countries such as India, Indonesia, Canada, England, the Philippines, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. Since June 2014, he has been serving as an Independent Director on the State Bank of India's Central Board and chairs the bank's Risk Management Committee. Additionally, he is an Independent Director at Fairfirst Insurance Sri Lanka Ltd. and Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company. 

 

Mr. Malhotra graduated with honors from the University of Delhi and is a member of the Institute(s) of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, Canada, England and Wales, and India
