Varun Agrawal has joined the UBC Investment Management team, bringing with him more than 12 years of experience. Prior to his current position, Varun served as an Associate Director at the Johns Hopkins University Investment Office, where he played a key role in enhancing the office's risk management capabilities through portfolio analysis. Before joining Johns Hopkins, Varun held the position of Vice President at Harvard Management Company, where he was responsible for designing analytics and monitoring hedge fund investments. His expertise was instrumental in developing and implementing risk-factor investing best practices.

 

 Varun graduated with honors from Punjab Engineering College, where he was awarded the University Silver Medal for his academic performance and received a merit-based scholarship. He later earned a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University in New York. Varun is a CFA charter
